What is Unifier?
Developed by Second Places, Unifier is a web based platform that allows construction of multi user, multi location virtual worlds using the Unity engine. Unifier brings the next generation of interactive, multi concurrent user Virtual Worlds right to the browser, as an addition to your already constructed web presence.
A simple plug in to any Unity build will allow you to upload new locations to your own Virtual World allowing you easy user management, simple location control, forums, presentation boards, voice communication, private chat, group chat, streaming video's, localized audio and much more.
The Unifier platform utilises many existing and experienced applications to accomplish an immersion of the user, such as SmartFox and Flash Voice. It has been tested on Internet Explorer, Firefox, Opera and Safari as well as Apple OS and Microsoft operating systems. The Unifier hosting allows the administrator of a world, simple controls to upload new locations, manage user, and promote their own Unifier world all from a simple web interface.
